On Saturday 1st May work began on a new level crossing at Eastoke Corner station at the request of Havant Borough Council. This is to allow the access road to the main Eastoke Corner car park to be relocated from its present position beside the toilet block, to the West of our station across the road from the Lifeboat Inn and Cockle Warren Hotel.
In 2009 the Hampshire Narrow GaugeRailway Society's "Wendy" visited the Hayling Seaside Railway and was the main attraction at our Steam & Goods Gala which included steam hauled passenger trains and diesel goods trains
